Syn-Apps Joins Cisco Systems Solution Incentive Program

Syn-Apps LLC, a developer of custom IP telephony applications, has announced its acceptance into the Cisco (News - Alert) Solution Incentive Program, which will provide its partners with additional value to support their business needs.

 
Announced in 2005, the Cisco Solution Incentive Program, or SIP, is a program created to reward its channel partners for integrating packaged applications and partner services with Cisco technology to create innovative solutions for specific industries or business functions. It is said to offer financial incentives to Cisco channel partners who sell Cisco networking equipment packaged with an application as a solution to a specific business problem.
 
“SIP rewards partners for creating an applications-based solutions practice that takes advantage of the full capabilities of the network,” said Edison Peres, vice president of the Advanced and Core Technologies, Worldwide Channels division at Cisco.
 
“Customers benefit from the creation of innovative business solutions that address a specific business need, and channel partners benefit by delivering solutions that garner great customer value, resulting in increased customer satisfaction and profitability,” Peres said.
 
Syn-Apps (News - Alert) said its enrollment into the program will strengthen its long-term relationship with Cisco, and provide existing and prospective partners with better financial incentives to implement its notification and security solutions to support clients’ needs.
 
“This program furthers our commitment to deliver advanced solutions focused on Cisco unified communication and physical security technologies,” said Steve Horton, the recently appointed CEO at Syn-Apps. “Acceptance in the program recognizes our ability to expand Cisco solution value and rewards our partners for doing the same.”
 
Cisco currently offers three incentive programs: the “Value Incentive Program” to drive advanced technologies, the “Opportunity Incentive Program” to grow incremental business and “Solution Incentive Program” to drive revenue growth for partner profitability and mutual success.
 
Founded in 2000 and based in the Phoenix area, Syn-Apps has been delivering advanced notification and communication methods to Cisco Unified Communication, Physical Security, and Digital Media platforms. The company also delivers advanced call recording and reporting to address compliance requirements.
