Data Robotics Inc. Expands Drobo Partner Advantage Program

Data Robotics, Inc., a provider of automated data storage products and more, reportedly announced the expansion of its Drobo Partner Advantage Program, in order to provide increased revenue opportunities for the company’s channel partners.
The company will be now provide a broader portfolio of selling support to the growing number of channel partners that are selling the Drobo line of data storage solutions, through this newly expanded program, said Data Robotics officials, in a press release.
With the help of Drobo Partner Advantage Program, members will not only be able to utilize company’s deal-registration program, but can also leverage new sales tools, product training materials, as well as enhanced marketing assets. These help in improving SMB data storage solution business.
The new expanded channel program primarily offers three levels of participation, namely registered, authorized, and certified -- for selling and supporting Drobo solutions. Partners can take advantage of programs’ benefits in each partner category, says company.
In order to increase revenue, the new program has introduced “minimum advertised pricing” policy. In addition, a secure partner portal has been added to provide access to sales and marketing collateral and promotional information that will assist with sales opportunities.
The program also features newly developed marketing materials, such as collateral, web banners, e-mail blasts and other tools and content. Additionally, deal registration program is also introduced to protect sales efforts and enhance margin.
“Data Robotics continues to recognize the vital role our channel partners play in the ongoing growth and success of our company, so we are focused on putting programs and policies into practice that maximize sales opportunities and protect revenue for our valued channel partners,” said Malissa King, vice president of sales for North America and APAC, Data Robotics. “By combining storage solutions that can easily be installed and managed at a customer location with the benefits of the new Drobo Partner Advantage Program, our channel partners are empowered to be extremely competitive in today’s data storage market.”
Furthermore, Data Robotics is also providing channel partners with different training programs. It will be providing expanded hands-on demo and customer training capabilities -- with “Not For Resale” pricing. Monthly training presentations, which will help channel partners to solve customers’ data storage problems, will also be provided within the expanded program. This will help channel partners to expand their revenue opportunities. The company’s staff will also be directly available to provide sales and technical support.
