Sigma Systems has announced it won three new customers in North America for its residential and business VoIP services fulfillment solutions.

Sigma Systems (News - Alert) provides advanced IP service fulfillment solutions which include order management, provisioning and activation of residential and business VoIP, Triple, Quad and All-Play services.

With this, communications service providers are able to deliver integrated voice, video, broadband, content, all-play and commercial service bundles from a standards-based, platform. The service fulfillment solutions also speed up service creation, drive automation, decrease operational costs, and expand new revenue streams.

In order to scale residential VoIP and deploy complex VoIP offerings for SMBs, cable and telecom operators have started using Sigma’s service fulfillment solutions.

Tim Spencer, the president and COO of Sigma Systems said the new VoIP fulfillment customers will greatly benefit from Sigma's ability to rapidly deploy new services.

Their IP fulfillment solutions have been deployed at a quad-play carrier for business VoIP services that target small and medium businesses (SMBs). The operator, who is already using Sigma's Service Management Portfolio for its broadband and residential VoIP services, will deliver residential and business VoIP services on the Nortel (News - Alert) CS2000 softswitch.

The IP fulfillment solutions have also been deployed at a cable operator for business VoIP services delivered over the BroadSoft (News - Alert) BroadWorks softswitch. The residential VoIP services of the operator, which are delivered on Nortel's CS2000 softswitch, are also managed by Sigma. And, another customer, a top-10 cable broadband operator, offers residential and business VoIP services on Nortel's CS2000 softswitch.

The company’s Commercial Voice Solution was named an OSS "Product of the Year" by Internet Telephony Magazine back in January. The magazine also honored their Residential Voice Solution with a Product of the Year award back in 2008.
