Ambit Broadband (operating as “Ambit Microsystems” in the Americas), a Taiwanese supplier of broadband Internet equipment, today announced it will be moving forward with business under the re-branded name of Ubee Interactive.

 

The company decided to re-brand itself under the Ubee Interactive name after collecting feedback from a variety of customer and employee surveys, which collectively described the company as open, unique, and dedicated to enhancing the broadband experience for consumers and providers.

 

Maria Popo, president of Ubee for the Americas, explained, “Our new name and logo reflect the fact that we are a special company. We're small enough to be responsive and flexible, but large enough to support the world's largest broadband service providers."

 

Popo added that the company’s products are currently being used at seven of the eight largest cable operators in the United States, as well as by major MSOs (Multiple System Operators) located throughout the world.

 

"The Ubee difference is our commitment to really know our customers. We strive to be flexible, responsive, and go the extra mile to help them achieve their goals,” said Popo.

 

The Ubee name was released through a Web site re-launch and will spread throughout the company's materials and products in the coming months.

 

Ubee Interactive will also be promoting its new look in its display booth at an April cable convention in Washington, D.C.
