StrongMail Announces E-Mail Bundle for SMBs

StrongMail Systems, which sells on-premise products for marketing and transactional e-mail, reportedly has announced the StrongMail Message Studio Express Bundle as a new addition to its product line marketed to small-to-mid-sized businesses.

Offered from StrongMail’s value-added reseller partners, the package is designed for businesses that send fewer than one million messages per month.

The bundle is a turnkey package that combines hardware, software and services required for SMBs to work with e-mail programs. StrongMail officials say it’s an option for managing their e-mail on-premise while also “taking advantage of a predictable cost model that eliminates the costly CPM fees associated with ESPs.”

By expanding its product line for lower-volume senders, StrongMail officials say it “makes it possible for any size organization to own its e-mail infrastructure.”

Lexnet Consulting Group, a StrongMail partner and CRM product reseller, recently sold the StrongMail Message Studio Express Bundle to Lussori, an established retailer of fine jewelry and timepieces.

A month ago, StrongMail announced that Lasso Data Systems, which sells on-demand CRM software for the real estate industry, implemented StrongMail.

The “number one feature” of Web-based real estate software is “its ability to handle large volumes of e-mail,” said Rick Talbot, vice president of client services for Lasso. “With StrongMail, we have complete control of our on-premise product, allowing us to achieve full integration with Lasso software.”

Prior to StrongMail, Lasso relied on an in-house developed mass mail product that had limited reporting capabilities. Lasso’s R&D team knew how many e-mails were sent, opened, and invalid, but they could not see why or how many e-mails were blocked or bounced.

With StrongMail, said Talbot, “from domain throttling to detailed reporting, we get everything we need, plus the ability to control the server in our data center, integrate with our software, and scale to meet our future needs.”

In May, StrongMail said that it expanded its channel program with four VAR partners. New IBM Premier Business Partners include Direct Systems Support, PCPC Direct and Yorel Integrated Solutions (News - Alert), while CRM VAR and system integrator Lexnet Consulting Group has also signed an agreement to resell StrongMail’s e-mail marketing platform.

These latest IBM (News - Alert) reseller partnerships are seen by company officials as “strengthening” StrongMail’s reach in regional markets. Based in Southern California, DSS is an IBM Premier Business Partner of more than ten years. As part of the partnership, DSS is launching an IBM Mobile Data Center that uses StrongMail’s e-mail marketing technology.

An IBM Premier Business Partner based in Houston, PCPC Direct sells products and service to Fortune 1000 companies headquartered in the US and Europe and SMBs located throughout Texas. Founded in 1993 and based in Charlotte, Yorel sells customized information technology products “that focus on business problems first,” Yorel officials say.
