SimpleSignal (News - Alert) reportedly partnered with Chinook Hosting, a hosted solutions company, to provide the hosted Exchange services for SimplyMobile.

 

SimplyMobile helps users to listen to their e-mails and manage calendar items in Microsoft (News - Alert) Outlook using voice commands from any telephone, including mobile devices. As the e-mail and voice services are hosted with the new integrated solution end-users can focus on managing their business instead of investing their valuable time in managing their communications infrastructure, according to the company.

 

The solution can also translate e-mails from text to speech and allows users to call Outlook contacts via voice commands on a mobile phone, company officials say. With SimplyMobile one can even verbally change the time of a meeting in the calendar and Exchange will send an e-mail notification of the change to the meeting participants, according to the company.
